Do Iranians really hate America?

On May 11th, Iran aired a video from an old protest, as a last ditch effort, to inspire American hatred. The video was aired just after morning prayers in Tehran and across social media Iranians have been firing back.

Over the past couple of months, many protest videos that have been shared on Telegram Messenger and other forms of social media clearly show Iranians chanting “American is not the enemy, our enemy is right here”.  The chants are clearly a jab at Khomeini.

The truth of the matter is most of the Iranian civilians, minus the ones who got wealthy from the Mullah’s regime and profited from the Iranian Nuclear Deal, love the idea of democracy and see the United States as one of their allies. Human rights and rebuilding the economy are some of the flash points.

As the Iranian protesters fight back against the Mullah’s regime, it should be noted, the United States stands shoulder-to-shoulder with the oppressed Iranians. Between recent comments from Donald Trump, Rudy Giuliani, John Bolton, Niki Haley and many more, proves the US solidarity with the Iranian people.
